** Mika Fever**

I never was a groupie at heart...Of course, I had the occasional teenage crush, Leonardo DiCaprio circa Titanic but my hysterical, feverish emotions cut short and passed 12, I never got star-struck again...well these days are gone, my friends..... GONE AND DONE!!!

It's my great pleasure to present to you : MIKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MIKA is totally hot. Androgynous, Multicultural, and he has that sort of "fallen poet" look.

But More importantly, MIKA is BRILLIANT!!!

" his songs suggest what would have happened had Queen cross-bred with the Scissor Sisters." Q Magazine

"Introducing the sound of 2007: Mika. The man, the myth, the music" The Independent "MIKA is the most exciting new artist to hit the scene in a very, very long time" London Lite

"Take Freddie Mercury without the handlebar moustache; throw in equal dollops of Elton John, Robbie Williams, and Scissor Sisters; garnish with matinee-idol looks and the lyrical dexterity of a young David Bowie. The result is Mika, a young, London-based singer who has appeared from nowhere to go straight to the top of the charts. He's charming, he's 23, and if you believe the hype, he's the biggest thing to hit pop for a generation." Sunday Times

"Opera-trained, eclectic, Mika is a product of the greatest hits generation" UK Music
I could go on forever...Point is MIKA is young, MIKA is talented, MIKA is the artist my generation was in bad need of.... Now go buy his album, and start grooving!!

He sounds good, but to say he's the artist my generation is in need of is kinda stretching it.

Personal opinion here, but I can't accept the fact that a pop artist can represent an entire generation without that insulting an entire generation of people.

    If it's a US/Euro thing...I don't know.

Sorry, I didnt want it to come off as bitching. I'm just saying that pop music is generally a marketing concept that people create to make money. I can't see any of the emotion or honesty in it.

Maybe thats just a US-pop thing that i'm talking about. I'm not very trained on alot of britpop or anything.

But hell, if you like it rock on!
